Coast

All landscape can be magical, but coast holds a special meaning as our family holidays in Cornwall are some of my happiest childhood memories. Running on sand and through the shallows, and hopping from rock to rock all helped develop confidence and agility, which is so important to feeling comfortable while moving around in wild land. This selection includes Cornwall, Dorset, Wales and North Yorkshire; but the majority of images are from Scotland and its islands, where the coast is often graced by a mountain backdrop, as well as amazing geology.
